10 Best WWE Promos Of 2018

5. Triple H's Unfinished Business With The Undertaker (Raw - 20 August)

Yesteryear was something Triple H wanted to dig up on the 20 August edition of Raw when he exemplified poise and warned he'd put The Undertaker down for good. It was a promo spiel fans had heard before, but there's something so intoxicating about Triple H when he ditches the 'Authority' villainy and becomes 'The Game' again.

Like the 'Taker vs. Trips rematch at Super Show-Down in Australia or not, this was a damn fine piece of work.

It had to be, because there was never any real danger of the match living up to expectations or topping what both men had done before. Therefore, it needed some verbal vigour, and Triple H was only too happy to oblige in the absence of his opponent. When he got going, there was no stopping him.

Admittedly, this was more of a speech for the TV audience than the one sitting in the arena, but it did have passion and it did breathe some life into an unnecessary rematch. That, if nothing else, proves how good Triple H can be on the stick.
