10 Best WWE Promos Of The Decade

9. "I. Choose. You."

Becky Lynch to Ronda Rousey

Monday Night Raw - January 28th, 2019

"Now, for a year now I've been hearing about this 'baddest woman on the planet'. But the last time I came to your show I dropped you right there. And even after that you never came looking for me to prove that you're the baddest. So, Ronnie, I've come looking for you to prove you're not. And you've heard about this but last night I won the Royal Rumble Match. And unlike Seth Rollins I don't need much time to think. I choose you. And at WrestleMania I'm going to break your mystique. I'm going to take your title. And I'm gonna kick your ass in front of the whole world."

In years to come, we'll all realise that the person most responsible for a women's match main-eventing WrestleMania wasn't Becky Lynch, or Ronda Rousey, or even Charlotte Flair... it was Nia Jax. That errant fist, which put Lynch on the shelf for Survivor Series, meant The Man was kept apart from The Baddest Woman on the Planet just long enough for the former to heat up to the latter's level.

Come January and Becky had surpassed the former MMA Champion as the biggest draw in the division. A showdown between the two was (until KofiMania began) the best thing WWE had going for it, and Lynch's post-Rumble challenge gave the whole thing an almost electrifying credibility. From the moment the mic was dropped here, there was no going back.
