Bill Goldberg was one of the biggest stars that WCW ever produced. In fact, some might say that he was the only star that the Atlanta based company produced, as most of their top tier talent came from WWE. Goldberg was a different sort of talent, a guy that just came out of nowhere and took the industry by storm. For WCW fans, he was a phenomenon in every sense of the word. Goldberg was a caged animal loosed upon Ted Turner's company and he devoured everyone that stood in his path. But after WCW closed its doors and was bought out by Vince McMahon, Goldberg's star immediately faded from sight. However that did not stop WWE from signing him and bringing him in on the March 31 2003 Monday Night Raw against The Rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZR-Zb7aZGE That moment is one that gets constantly replayed and discussed on many different websites, it still holds up. Though Bill's WWE run was less than stellar, he is still talked about to this day. His name is still chanted in the crowds and every year around WrestleMania season, his name is brought up to potentially be featured on the card. Goldberg remains a star even though he has not been in WWE since 2004. And his debut on Raw still stands the test of time as a huge moment, one of the greatest that fans have ever seen.
