John Cena has the reputation of being one of the most loved and one of the most hated Superstars in WWE. Though he is one of the most charitable men in the locker room, selflessly giving of his time and energy whenever called upon, he is still hated to his core for basically never changing. It's Johns unwavering character, the values that he holds dear, that actually bring down so much vile from the WWE fanbase. They believe him to be a phony, a man that is too good to be true and is just out of touch with what the average fan wants from a WWE Superstar. And anytime John gets bested, it's a moment of celebration for his critics. That is why this moment has made the list. The crowd's reaction to Brock Lesnar on that night in April 2012 was massive and was even louder because of their intense dislike for John Cena. It stands out as a great moment because of the very emotional reaction from fans that knew John was aware Brock was coming but were nevertheless thrilled to see Cena put on his back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCzBf-jo84o It's that connection to the fans that every WWE Superstar is working for, a connection that makes all their hard work worth it in the end. A guy knows that if the crowd buys in then they will support the angle by tuning in and by going to see it live. All a Superstar needs is once chance to make an impact and when he gets it, he has to make it count. That is exactly what Brock Lesnar did. Not only did he make an impact, he did it on the company's flagship program and he did it right before Raw went off the air. And that is another element that added value to his return.
