Those recognisable opening beats of The Hardys' entrance music bellowing over a SmackDown Live arena earlier this year wasn't anything out-of-the-ordinary considering that Jeff was a regular part of the brand. What was out-of-the-ordinary, however, was the huge 'Hardy Boyz' logo on the titantron, which understandably raised the suspicions of the WWE Universe.

Those suspicions became a reality when Matt Hardy joined his brother on the aisle, confirming that yes, after far too long apart, the Hardy Boyz were back together. He was greeted by a rapturous response from the crowd, who would then lose their minds when the reunited team went on to defeat The Bar in a tag team match.

Given that back issues had resulted in Hardy taking an extended leave-of-absence, many of us wondered if he had decided to 'delete' his in-ring days for good, so it was nothing short of awesome to see him back where he belonged. A feelgood moment, no doubt, it was made all the better by the fact that the veteran was in the best shape that he had been in in a very long time.
