4. John Cena - WrestleMania 35
When rumours began to circulate that John Cena would return during WrestleMania 35, few of us could have predicted that he would trade in WWE's resident Superman for a one-night only return of the Doctor Of Thuganomics - but that's exactly what the WWE Universe got at the 'Showcase Of The Immortals'.
Kitted out in his classic Thuganomics attire, Cena looked ten years younger as he made his presence felt during Elias' special WrestleMania concert and, quite frankly, it was a stroke of genius, simply because he was far more engaging than he had been in years. Oozing charisma every time he opened his mouth, he took great pleasure in outperforming (and insulting) Elias before planting him with the move-formerly-known-as-the-FU.
Undoubtedly the most overwhelmingly positive reaction Cena has received in years, this just highlighted how beloved a character he could have been if the-powers-that-be had allowed him to return to this persona long ago.
A few minutes of this Cena easily trumped years of SuperCena in just about every way possible.
As for Elias, things got even worse for him the next night...
