10 Best WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Feuds
5. Kurt Angle Vs. Eddie Guerrero
The only criticism you can make of the 2004 feud between Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero is that it was all-too fleeting.
They shared one of the matches of the night at WrestleMania XX - a month after Latino Heat captured his first WWE title with victory over Brock Lesnar - and an extended back-and-forth could have done wonders to help establish him in the main event. Angle, though, was sidelined thereafter with injury - and JBL stepped into his shoes instead.
They picked up where they left off months later at SummerSlam, delivering a second great match. And whilst they were no longer fighting over the title, the transformation of Angle from All-American hero to an intense heel - aided by Guerrero's cheating ways - made it one of the era's most memorable feuds.
