6. Total Bellas Bullsh*t

WWE tends not to do comedy very well because it's usually totally lame. This is your life as a WWE fan.

The Miz and Maryse's send-up of John Cena and Nikki Bella worked so well because it was terrible on purpose. The "lost footage" from Total Bellas was WWE in its prime, we-have-to-actually-try-now pre-WrestleMania mode.

Miz's automaton delivery was a stitch, as were his constant reminders of Cena's strict house rules ("People violate rule number 40 of John Cena's house rules by forgetting to use drink coasters. But, uh, but we don't have to worry about that anymore because we don't have any friends."). The three crucial seconds of silence before the cut put that gag over the top; you could almost see the realisation of horror creeping onto Miz's face. Miz's constant engagement teases were great; the more he did it, the more terrible (and thus somehow more funny) the punchlines were ("I've bought you a diamond...Dallas Page Yoga DVD set!").

It was a cracking send-up of Cena as a vapid PR shell, a malfunctioning robot struggling to impersonate a human being. "All of our meals are prepared by servants, which we don't allow on camera 'cause it wouldn't be relatable."

Maryse was excellent in her role as Nikki, too - a vacuous and vain harpy dependent on her man for happiness.

The match itself was a bomb, but you can't have everything.
