10 Best WWE Shows That Don't Exist Anymore

10. Velocity

Running from 2002-2006, Velocity was a Smackdown-brand exclusive show that aired on Saturday nights in North America. In the UK, the show was broadcast on Sunday mornings, before it was moved strictly to WWE.com in 2005. That means Velocity only had a 3-year stay on national television, but there were some notable occurrences on the show. The likes of Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe made their first WWE appearances on the program. The show was clearly a lower-level kind of affair, and rarely featured any storyline developments. Mainly existing as a Smackdown recap, Velocity did regularly feature some cracking matches. Lower-card stars were allowed to shine, which made the program worthwhile. Originally, Michael Cole and Tazz were the main announcers. By 2003, that had swiftly changed to Josh Mathews replacing Cole. Eventually, the likes of Bill DeMott and the seldom-remembered Steve Romero were behind the commentary desk. Velocity was a 'C' level broadcast, but it's still recalled by fans.
