10 Best WWE SmackDown Matches 2015

4. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio (November 19)

In November, WWE's plans were thrown into dissaray when Seth Rollins went down with a serious knee injury. Forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Rollins could only look on as his peers vyed to take his place at the top of the mountain. For Survivor Series, WWE planned a title tournament set to culminate on the pay-per-view. Mere days before, the 4 semi-final entrants contested a tag-team match on Smackdown. Rather predictably, given the quality of talent on offer, it turned out to be awesome. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose work brilliantly as a team by this point, but Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio proved to be an interesting combination. The match went to a non-finish, but that didn't hurt things. Looking at things logically, it wouldn't have made sense to have an established winner before Survivor Series. Further to that, the pace wasn't break neck, because the last thing WWE wanted was another injury throwing a spanner into the works. Despite the slower-than-usual speed and the lack of a clear-cut finish, the 10 minutes offered up were gripping.
