Ric Flair didn't need a mouthpiece manager, but he recognised the value of being tied to Bobby Heenan when he jumped from WCW to the WWF in 1991. During his own appearance on Austin's podcast, the 'Nature Boy' revealed something else about his relationship with a man he described as a "top 25 worker".

Heenan hated travelling with him on the road.

'Brain' wasn't keen on the wild party lifestyle Ric led. He didn't have a problem with anyone else doing it, but he couldn't stomach the constant late nights, hard drinking and showboating from one of the biz's most notorious revellers. Flair told Austin that Heenan went to Vince McMahon and said, "If you want someone to travel with Larry Flynt, find someone else".

That's amazing. Bobby did tell Ric that he enjoyed working with him - he just couldn't handle Flair's party animal antics in between shows. Rather definitively, Flair admitted that Heenan "hated" that relentless, non-stop celebration.
