10 Best WWE Storylines Of 2019 (So Far)

4. Brock Party

Brock Lesnar Paul Heyman
WWE

Don't underestimate the power of peak level patter.

Brock Lesnar literally turning the Money In The Bank briefcase into an actual f*cking ghetto blaster whilst jigging around the ring with his hood up didn't just spawn a million memes and a brand new shirt for 'The Beast'. It was, bizarrely, a perfect way to add dread to the cursed life of Seth Rollins as he awaits a cash-in.

Lesnar is always a star, but he's also the most liable to go stale with very little warning. Boring matches and minimal motivation have destroyed other careers with his immune to the same problems the rank-and-files have to concern themselves with. When he turns up the character work, he elevates himself even further above others but also does some heavy lifting for the beleaguered stars around him.

If and when Paul Heyman's client regains the title, it'll be with the memory of him being one of the most ludicrously enjoyable holders of the case in years. Brock, again, even via pure absurdity, has made a struggling gimmick matter more.
