Becky Lynch had to win the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania.

The former 'Irish Lass Kicker' was the biggest star in the entire industry by November before a match with Ronda Rousey was taken away from her thanks to an errant fist from Nia Jax. It was the best case scenario for all involved.

Rousey's incredible rookie year had resulted in her going unbeaten for its duration, with only the power of Lynch's incredible momentum strong enough to floor her. 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' was suddenly in the way of 'The Man', and with the three words atop this article, Becky plotted the final part of a course she'd gradually laid out for months to a destination she'd been dreaming of for years - The WrestleMania Main Event.

It was a shame there was still so long to go. Distractions with injuries and the useful but challenging insertion of Charlotte Flair into the contest made the road a little bumpier, but it the end location and outcome satisfied the necessary brief - capitalise on somebody that earned every bit of her historic WrestleMania Moment.
