4. CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy (2009)

To date, this Tables, Ladders and Chairs effort from SummerSlam 2009 is Jeff Hardy's final Pay-Per-View match under the WWE banner. Punk and Hardy would square off on the following episode of Smackdown inside a Steel Cage, but SummerSlam was Jeff's supershow swansong. Like many other weapons-based matches involving Jeff Hardy, there were leaps from ladders and various spots involving tables. Sometimes, these sequences can feel a little routine, but there was an excellent atmosphere to this main event. The fact Punk (the heel) won didn't sully SummerSlam in the slightest, it just made people hungry to see a rematch.
