10 Best WWE Survivor Series Elimination Matches Of The 2000s
3. Team Angle vs. Team Lesnar (2003)
Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar had one of the most underrated rivalries in WWE. Sure, everyone remembers the disastrous Shooting Star Press at the end of a glorious WrestleMania encounter, and the milk (so much milk), but the fact that this Survivor Series match was overshadowed by another five-on-five that same night shouldn't mean it is forgotten.
The brawn of Brock Lesnar's team - of which there was a lot - fell to the rising stars of Chris Benoit, who tapped out the captain, and John Cena. Three eliminations in the first minute (beginning with Hardcore Holly's disqualification before the match had even started) set the pace, and it was a great counter to the more drawn-out, plot-heavy compatriot later on in the night.
Angle departed shockingly early, leaving Cena and Benoit to face Lesnar and Big Show. The pair overcame the odds, building their respective profiles with the rub of defeating two of the company's biggest men with the deck stacked against them. The match clocks in just over 13 minutes, so if you're looking for furious, Ruthless Aggression era action, this is the place to be.
