10 Best WWE Taboo Tuesday Fan Decisions
5. Shelton Benjamin Vs. Chris Jericho (2004)
You can't say that WWE didn't give us a broad range of choice for this one. There were 15 potential challengers to Chris Jericho's Intercontinental title from which to choose - among them Steven Richards, Val Venis, and Jonathan Coachman.
In the end, though, the fans went for Shelton Benjamin - with a resounding 37% of the vote - and it was definitely the right choice. The former Team Angle member went on to beat Y2J to claim his maiden singles championship, the start of a push that would, in an alternative universe, end with a world title victory a year later.
Alas, in our time-line, Shelton was left to a career in the mid-card, but ask yourself: would you really have rather seen Jericho against Rosey?
