10 Best WWE Tag Teams Of The 2000s

1. The Hardy Boyz

Completing the original TLC triumvirate are the boys from Cameron, North Carolina. The Hardyz matches with Edge & Christian and The Dudley Boyz are legendary and set new heights (literally) for tag team wrestling. It sounds cliché but the brothers were so unique and instantly stood apart from the crowd. Jeff, in particular, appealed to both male and female fans thanks to his good looks, rainbow-coloured hair, laid-back attitude and devil-may-care wrestling style. Matt, meanwhile, reportedly helped to structure their matches and make sure the humble Jeff had a chance to shine. It is a testament to the Hardyz popularity as a team that whenever the brothers feuded with each other the fans were slow to react to their hostilities. To some fans who had a vested interested in the Hardyz, seeing them fight was as uncomfortable as if members of their own family were at odds. The Hardyz reunited in 2006 and showed that they hadn't lost any of the old magic. Their matches against Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, MNM and The World's Greatest Tag Team. Having both apparently conquered their 'personal problems', Matt and Jeff are still producing great matches for TNA and the indies.
