Along with Jim Johnston, WWE's most notable songwriter in the late-'80s/early-'90s was Jimmy Hart. While Johnston can be credited with more notable WWE theme songs, Hart struck gold when he came up with Shawn Michaels' iconic theme song, Sexy Boy.

Splitting from tag partner Marty Jannetty after the memorable Barber Shop segment, Michaels required a theme song that portrayed his new character's cockiness and vanity. As well as being managed by Sensational Sherri, Michaels was given a perfect song written by Jimmy Hart and JJ Maguire that celebrated his promiscuity.

Originally sung by Sensational Sherri, Michaels would record his own vocals for the track a year after its first use. The tune has remained unedited since 1993, something quite unprecedented in the world of WWE theme songs.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
