Wow, do you want to talk about a contrast? By 1998, WWE had embraced a new era of "Attitude". Out went country boys asking us "Are you ready" and in came the familiar voice of the DX Band's lead vocalist Chris Warren screaming about what the wrestlers were willing to do to become a "Superstar". This opener was unique in that it revealed some of the things that go into the very process of becoming a WWF Superstar. From The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin arriving at the arena with their gear bags, to The Road Warriors applying their iconic paint, we were treated to clips of the men and women in the business transforming into the WWE Superstars we'd see just minutes later on the show. These clips were spliced with footage of the television crew building the ring, hoisting the light rigs and turning the arena into a "war zone". It one was short-lived, but remains one of WWE's more unique and creative efforts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYtyww-vGnQ
