When WWE Superstars hit our screens in 1995, we were greeted by a southern rock number featuring what sounds like Michael PS Hayes on vocals asking us "Are you ready to go?!". I'm pretty sure that this intro was a headache for the WWF production crew to keep fresh. Throughout 1995 and 1996, when the WWE roster was constantly shifting, the intro was updated on an almost monthly basis, and at various points wrestlers such as Ultimate Warrior, Vader, Goldust and many others came and went. In this particular version, Hayes informed us that "Hakushi's flyin', Yankem's smilin', Vince is tryin', Jerry's lyin'". Indeed. Eventually, the exhausted producers decided that this intro was "ready to go", and it was replaced in 1996 with a more generic video montage and instrumental theme. Much simpler, but nowhere near as much cheesy fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85yVNxRNbz4
