If you asked 100 people which WWE superstar had won the most matches in 2017, chances are none of them would say “Akira Tozawa,” but here we are. The Japanese star tops the table with an astonishing 83% win rate, marking him as the company’s most consistent in-ring performer.

Tozawa has lost just two singles matches since joining the roster, with one of those coming via count-out. The other was a loss to Brian Kendrick in February, which he has since avenged thrice over, with his latest triumph coming in a tremendous Street Fight on May 23rd.

Akira hasn’t lost since March 28th. He is currently on a 10-0 winning streak, with his most latest coming over TJP on the June 19th episode of Raw. Aligning with Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil has given him some much-needed storyline direction, and while the company haven’t set a date for his Cruiserweight Title shot, Akira’s record shows he’ll pose a significant threat.

The former Dragon Gate star is one of 205’s most popular performers. He has been a complete success since walking through WWE’s doors.

While the brand’s low viewership holds him back, he is fast becoming a superstar within 205.
