10 Best WWE Win/Loss Records Of 2017 So Far
2. Carmella (W11 - L3 - D0)
Sasha Banks was WWE’s most dominant female in 2016, and finishing the year with a record of 25-9-2, ‘The Boss’ has continued her winning ways in 2017 but has seen her ratio fall to just 57% - with Carmella shockingly usurping her as the women’s division’s most successful competitor.
‘The Princess Of Staten Island’s’ win percentage is 79%. SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi is her closest rival with 61%, with Alexa Bliss (55%) and Nia Jax (52%) lagging further behind.
The raw numbers don’t tell the whole story. Naomi is Carmella’s most credible singles victory, but this came through a distraction roll-up on May 16th. The bulk of her other singles victories were early-year squash matches, while her biggest win (Money In The Bank) was a result of James Ellsworth’s actions, not her own.
Still, this is a numerical ranking, and in the most basic terms, Carmella is currently WWE’s most successful woman between the ropes. It’ll take a big downturn in her fortunes for this to shift throughout the year, but if she successful recaptures the MITB briefcase (and becomes Women’s Champion), there’s a good chance she could even strengthen her position.
