10 Best WWE Win/Loss Records Of 2017 So Far
8. Samoa Joe (W11 - L5 - D0)
Former NXT Champion Samoa Joe has made a seamless transition to main roster life. His push has been handled excellently, and with a Universal Title match against Brock Lesnar on the immediate horizon, he has become a genuine Raw headliner, and one of the most compelling characters in the company.
His character work is outstanding, but Joe has been booked like a monster in the ring too. He’s currently sitting on a strong 69% win percentage, and while he does have five losses to his name, only one of those was clean (vs. Seth Rollins at Payback). Joe has defeated some of the company’s biggest stars in Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Chris Jericho, and while his athleticism has clearly declined over the past few years, he remains a force between the ropes.
Cruiserweights aside, Joe has a better win/loss record than any other singles act on the Raw roster. He’ll likely lose to Lesnar, but he’s in a great position to take the fall in his stride, and it shouldn’t cause him any damage at all.
It’s tough to forecast his long-term direction, but for now, Samoa Joe is one of the company’s most successful grapplers.
