10 Best WWE Win/Loss Records Of 2017 So Far
7. Big E (W9 - L4 - D0)
Big E finished 2016 as The New Day’s most effective individual member, with the group winning 63% of their matches with him, and 49% without. This theme has continued in 2017, with E notching a combined win percentage of 69% in singles and tag matches, though the bulk of his success has obviously come while teaming with Kofi Kingston or Xavier Woods.
The Revival are the only team that The New Day have fallen to in traditional two-on-two competition this year, showing that while they no longer have gold around their waists, their importance hasn’t waned. They’ll likely spend the next couple of months trading wins back and forth with The Usos, but if they take the belts, there’s a strong chance we’ll see E shoot even further up the rankings by the year’s end.
As a singles wrestler, E has just a couple of matches to his name (against Titus O’Neil and Jimmy Uso), but he won them both. He is his group’s workhorse, and has sat out just one New Day tag match this year.
The company clearly have a lot of faith in him, and while there’s no sign of the trio splitting anytime soon, E’s ubiquity rate bodes well for a singles run in the future.
