It'll be a great shame if we never see Neville in a WWE ring again. When he was around, the Geordie was one of the company's biggest highlights, with his 'King Of The Cruiserweights' shtick finally giving fans a reason to tune in to the lowly 205 Live brand, but therein lies his greatest tragedy. The bulk of Neville's best work took place on a show few actually watched. His performances should've resulted in a bigger push, but they didn't, and this is likely while he'll probably be working the indies the next time we see him.

Regardless, Neville amassed an almighty record as Cruiserweight Champion. He was dominant throughout 2017, with the bulk of his losses coming in tag bouts, and he didn't eat a single pinfall or submission until the August 14th episode of Raw - something nobody above him can say.

He lost the Cruiserweight Championship twice in his last two months prior to walking out, but Nev was still racking up notable victories against Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, and Ariya Daivari. Booked like 205's ace until Enzo Amore arrived on the scene, his numbers are impressive, but would've meant a lot more had he been handed a bigger role on Raw or SmackDown.
