After months of being held down by the powers that be - both in storyline and in real life - Daniel Bryan got his moment to shine in the main event of WrestleMania.

Having beaten Triple H earlier in the night, Bryan was inserted into a Triple Threat for the world title alongside Batista and champion, Randy Orton.

Fans watched between their fingers as their guy battled the two former Evolution buddies in what was a great main event match. Eventually, Bryan got Batista in the Yes Lock and Drax The Destroyer tapped out.

Much like Benoit ten years previously, Daniel Bryan was the workhorse underdog who fans wanted to see succeed. He had never been considered a top guy by management, but because of the overwhelming support shown to him by WWE's audience, the people in the back took notice and then took action.

So many times in wrestling has a babyface champion come out and told a crowd that a championship didn't belong to them, it belonged to them. Well, this time, that was true.

This was as much a victory for the fans as it was Bryan and it was truly magical.
