If you were to ask the average WWE fan to guess which superstar had the best win/loss record in 2016, "Roman Reigns" would likely be the first name to come out of their mouth. This is understandable: Reigns, despite his Wellness Policy violation, remains the company's undisputed golden boy. He has been at the forefront of WWE programming throughout the year, even through his "relegation" to the United States division, and he always seems to come out on top, no matter the odds.

It's somewhat surprising, then, that Roman finished with a win percentage of 69%. He only just squeezes into the top 5 by the skin of his teeth (he beats Styles by just .37%), but it's important to add an asterisk here. The vast majority of Roman's losses came through interference, disqualification, or other shenanigans, and if we were to rank clean wins and losses only, he might just top the table.

Still, a loss is a loss, and Reigns is far from 2016's most consistent wrestler. He'll always be protected when he loses, and WWE aren't likely to abandon his Superman push anytime soon, but at least fans can take comfort in his ever improving match quality: love him or hate him, Reigns had some outstanding fights in 2016.
