Current Finisher: ‘Coup de Grâce’ (Diving Double Foot Stomp)

Like Wyatt, Balor doesn’t need a new finisher as much as he needs a second one. The Coup de Grâce is a very situational move, and considering the nature of high-flying moves in general, if they’re used too much they might lose their effect on the fans. Furthermore, Balor is more than just a high-flyer and he had a wide variety of wrestling moves while in NJPW, which made his matches more exciting because you never knew how he was going to win a match.

Suggested New Finisher: ‘Reverse Bloody Sunday’ (Lifting Inverted DDT)

Instead of coming up with an entirely new finisher, why not make it easier and turn a move that he has already used in NXT into a secondary finisher. Unlike the original Bloody Sunday, which it very dangerous, the Inverted version is actually a lot safer than one would expect considering how dangerous it looks on TV.

Even though the victim looks like they land on their head, they actually land on their shoulders and back, which is much safer, without making the move look weaker.

There are few moves that are done from that position (an attack from behind that doesn’t involve turning your opponent around), so Balor would have another unique move to add to his arsenal, which would further solidify him as a must-watch wrestler.
