4. Better Mainstream TV Appearances

John Cena Sky Sports News It seems these days that, when there is a UK tour, a WWE superstar or two will visit Sky Sports News for an interview, and will maybe show up on Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 and that's about it. There will be a few radio interviews and interviews, but the WWE does not seem to push their way onto other TV shows. Imagine John Cena being interviewed by Jonathan Ross (who is himself a huge wrestling fan and would most likely jump at the opportunity) or Alan Carr. In fact, doing some research and targetting real life wrestling fans like Jonathan Ross could very well be the way to go. There are more television channels than ever before, meaning more opportunities for publicity than ever before. This could also create awareness of the WWE tours with people who wouldn't ordinarily know that there was a tour approaching, and by using wrestlers with good PR skills, they can make the average man on the street more appreciative and understanding of what they do, as opposed to the usual mocking of wrestling than us fans have to endure from the mainstream.
