10 Big Concerns Over Daniel Bryan's WWE Return

1. Is Daniel Bryan Just One Bad Bump Away From A Wheelchair?

The biggest concern over Daniel Bryan's comeback is should he be coming back at all. He was considering retirement just a few months back, which speaks measures of just how serious his condition was. He's only 33, but the way he has wrestled has made him more like 43. The state of his neck will be an ongoing concern for him and WWE. In some ways, it makes for uncomfortable viewing. Think back to when Steve Austin returned in 2000, or when Kurt Angle came back from neck surgery in 2003. Fans worried about those guys, it was awkward to see them landing on the back of their heads. Austin ended up retired in just a few years and Angle turned to pain pills, which proves just how difficult it is to bounce back from major injury. Like Angle and Austin, Daniel Bryan perhaps felt a sense of responsibility to the WWE. He would've also been aware of the lucrative financial gains he could make in a comeback. Let's just hope he isn't putting his body in harms way for one last bite of the big time.
