7. Goldberg Murders Bobby Lashley('s Credibility)
In 2016, when Goldberg made his return to the WWE after a fourteen year absence, he was greeted as a hero. Now, the man is as welcome as a hot fart in a packed elevator.
Where there was once respect and an aura circling his name, years of diminishing returns and poorly received matches have ebbed that way to the point where he is routinely booed. WWE aren't in the ThunderDome anymore and it's incredibly obvious when they hit Goldberg.wav.
This needs to be it for Goldberg. Already synonymous with these terrible shows due to his horrendous performances, surely now is the time to phase Goldberg out and stop sacrificing current stars at the alter of his spear.
Bobby Lashley has finally hit his stride in the WWE during 2021, following on from an impressive 2020 and became a ferocious and respectable WWE Champion. Losing the belt to Big E came a little out of nowhere, but he has been kept strong in the aftermath.
Being squashed by a litany of spears and a poorly executed Jackhammer won't help him, nor will it get Goldberg back in anyone's good graces.
Let's hope the WWE see sense, let Lashley put Goldberg down for good and while he's at it, let him put Gage on the shelf for good measure.
