Look, this is coming from someone who loves watching Edge perform, someone who adores everything that Daniel Bryan does in a ring and someone who hated Roman Reigns' stale and predictable good guy shtick. But, sorry, the 'Head of the Table' really shouldn't be losing the gold come WrestleMania.

Edge's fairytale return to the main event bears some striking similarities to both Daniel Bryan's initial 2014 rise to the top and his miraculous return to the ring in 2018, so it's rather fitting that the 'Yes Man' found himself involved in the program too. But all of that feelgood factor doesn't change the fact that Roman Reigns has been the most consistently amazing aspect of WWE programming this past year.

It was inevitable that Reigns would find his biggest challenge on the Grandest Stage of Them All - and when he won the title, we all predicted that he would carry it into WrestleMania 37 - but the truth is that, even though the bully needs to be stopped at some point, now is not the time to end his reign.

With the inclusion of Daniel Bryan, it's looking like Edge is definitely going to bring his comeback fairytale full-circle with that win (without harming Reigns' invincibility factor with a pinfall), and if he does, it will be well-deserved. And yet, it still feels like Reigns has more to give from his Head of the Table persona - something that would be much better if he is still carrying the belt when he does it.
