10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE WrestleMania Backlash

5. John Morrison Turns On The Miz

John Morrison and The Miz have been back together for about a year and a half. By WWE's logic, that should mean they're on the cusp of a needless break-up; in this case, by Morrison turning on 'The A-Lister'.

The seeds have already been planted, from Miz inadvertently costing Morrison a win over his Backlash opponent Damian Priest on Monday's Raw episode and then leaving him alone with 'The Archer of Infamy' post-match, to the fact Miz focused on winning himself the WWE Championship while the former Johnny Mundo had to sit back and watch his partner succeed. There's a whole field full of the seeds that would warrant them breaking up.

But they can't. Not yet, anyway.

Although they've not actually challenged for the Raw Tag Team Championships since being drafted over from SmackDown, Miz and Morrison are one of only a few properly established tandems on Monday nights. A division simply can't survive solely on *checks notes* Elias and Jaxson Ryker, Mace and T-Bar, and the Lucha House Party. The New Day, as credible as they are, can't save the division single-handedly.

Splitting up The Miz and John Morrison at this moment in time is just as well as WWE saying they don't care about tag team wrestling. We know they don't, but you get the point.
