10 Big Ideas For The Ascension's WWE Main Roster Debut
7. Become Paul Heyman Guys
What better way to bolster a tag team division than to bring in the best manager in the business. With Brock Lesnar's status after Wrestlemania is up in the air, the pairing of Paul Heyman with The Ascension would succeed much better than it did with Rybaxel. The Ascension will be viewed as the best tag team in the division when called up, and the addition of Heyman just cements that. The Ascension are pretty good at cutting promos, but no one can touch Heyman and he would instantly give them credibility. The Ascension can make their alliance with Heyman known with an attack of Roman Reigns (or whoever will face Brock presumably at Wrestlemania 31) out of nowhere, and then cue Paul Heyman with his trademark sh*t-eating grin on camera to shake hands with the tag team. All of a sudden we have a complete power alliance with Lesnar and The Ascension. That could be scary, but it also poses as overcoming great odds for whoever could try to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals.
