10 Big Names Missing From WWE Raw 25

1. The Rock

The Holy Trinity of names from WWE's Attitude Era is, without a doubt, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, and The Rock. Two of those people helped to make the opening segment of Raw 25 the undisputed high point of the entire show. Unfortunately, The Rock was absent.

Since he retired from wrestling, Dwayne Johnson has become a bigger star than he ever was as an in-ring performer. He is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood today, toplining films like Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. He's arguably the world's busiest actor, as well, with eight movies either announced or awaiting release, including Paige biopic Fighting With My Family, and a handful of other rumoured projects. With that in mind, his absence is not that remarkable.

However, by not having The Rock, WWE missed out on a major pop. The Great One is always a magnetic presence when he makes his Raw appearances and he can certainly be counted on to make a segment fly. Of all of the people who were not present at Raw 25, the People's Champion was the most notable absence.
