10 Big Problems Caused By WWE's Upcoming Returns

1. Return To Status Quo

WWE bringing back its most established wrestlers is also a return to the status quo. Not so much in the case of Rollins and Wyatt, but certainly in the case of Cena, Orton, and Triple H.

What needs to be avoided, is WCW style booking, in which real progress is never made because the company continually falls back on its biggest stars. Thats hard to do, as proven track records demand spotlight. Likewise, the financial cost of big stars means they must be used in big ways to recoup the investment. But just like WCW, if WWE continue to allow older stars to rule the roost, the company will begin to decline.

With Cena and Orton near 40, and Triple H nearer 50, the WWE really needs to make sure the upcoming returns are less about the past and more about passing the torch to the future.
