Seth Rollins beamed with pride as he accepted the Slammy Award for 'Superstar Of The Year' at the tail end of 2015. By the time that episode of Raw aired on December 21, Rollins had been out of action for over a month. Fans seemed delighted to see him, responding positively to his appearance, hence the grin the former WWE Champion sported on the night.

Before he went down with a nasty combination of knee injuries during a routine house show match against Kane in Dublin, Ireland, Rollins was on fire. Prior to that fateful night on November 4, he was one of the most consistently reliable wrestlers under contract, and a wholly deserving WWE Champion. He was also working well as a heel, albeit a cowardly one who could have been doing with some more backbone to lend credibility.

As of right now, there's a decent chance that Rollins will return to WWE screens in April or May. It's questionable whether or not he will do so as a heel, especially considering things have moved on in terms of The Authority storyline since his departure. Fans may also be excited to see him return, leaving WWE with a decision to make over whether or not to cast him as babyface or villain.
