WWE have never been shy about having Charlotte lose on Raw, but her pay-per-view record is immaculate. The current Raw Women’s Champion has amassed an impressive 15-0 record in PPV singles matches since her July 2015 call-up, and the streak has become an important part of her character’s dominance. WWE have put great time into building it up so that one day, somebody can tear it down, but will that moment come at the Royal Rumble?

Sasha Banks failed to break the streak on multiple occasions, and Bayley is next in line. Like Sasha, Bayley’s issues with Charlotte stretch all the way back to their NXT days, and with recent reports suggesting that WWE see Bayley, not Sasha, as the division’s big babyface, could her crowning glory come at the Royal Rumble?

Breaking the streak would be a huge moment for Raw’s most natural underdog, but San Antonio might come too early for her. After months of hot-shotting between Sasha and Charlotte, the belt could really benefit from a longer reign at this point, and Charlotte losing so soon could prove counterproductive. Besides, the longer WWE prolong the streak, the more it’ll mean when someone eventually breaks it. Bayley should probably be the one to do it, but the timing needs to be right.
