The Hell in a Cell pre-show match will see the makeshift babyface team of Ziggler, Neville and Cesaro take on the makeshift heel team of Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev. All six could plausibly have found a place on the main card, but the absences of Ziggler, Cesaro, Sheamus and Rusev seem particularly surprising. If this proves anything in particular, it really highlights the ever-increasing size of WWE's roster (a problem which will only worsen as more NXT graduates come through). A brand split seems the inevitable solution, and would surely be a welcome one, given the fact that so many wrestlers are struggling to make an impact as things stand.
