It has long been accepted that Nikki Bella is on course to break AJ Lee's record 295 day reign as Divas Champion, a fairly petty swipe at AJ Lee for being the partner of CM Punk. But the fact that Nikki actually referred to the record in her Raw promo - even going so far as to bring up a giant countdown clock on the TitanTron - casts doubt over this. Another big reason Nikki's record-breaking reign is far from a foregone conclusion is the ongoing 'Divas Revolution', which should surely see one of the recent NXT graduates relieve her of the championship sooner or later. The only question revolves around whether that will happen before she passes AJ's total; a premature loss would garner a bigger pop, give the new champion a greater rub, and sufficiently swerve the skeptical smark fans. Then again, Nikki only needs to hold on until the next PPV to break the record.
