The Dudley Boyz' shock return last week quickly morphed into a feud with current WWE Tag Team Champions, the fantastic New Day. It seems only a matter of time before Bubba Ray and D-Von are granted a title shot, presumably at Night of Champions, but will the beloved veterans actually find themselves with tag gold one again? Although giving the tag titles to an already-legendary team might initially seem like a step backwards, especially with so many new duos in need of a significant boost, the Dudleys would give the belts themselves a much-needed air of legitimacy. The Prime Time Players and New Day have begun to move the division in the right direction over the course of their entertaining feud, but the championship can't be hot-shotted between the two teams for much longer. The Dudleys, bizarrely, could be just the breath of fresh air the tag titles need.
