10 Big Talking Points From WWE Raw (Aug 29)
1. ...And He Wins The Match (For Kevin Owens)
With Reigns out of the picture, Rollins's ascension looked certain (to him, at least). He and Triple H advanced on Kevin Owens, but at the last second, HHH turned on Rollins and planted him with another Pedigree.
Owens, shocked, looked up at Triple H, but soon decided to put his questions aside. He covered Rollins, getting the three count and the Universal Title, then hugged Triple H.
Triple H is back for five minutes, and already he's overshadowing the active talent on Raw. The 47-year-old was the one who beat Rollins and Reigns, and his big comeback is undoubtedly going to have larger repercussions than Owens's title win (if you don't believe me, just wait and see who gets more TV emphasis over the next several weeks).
If that wasn't enough, Triple H's awkward glance at Stephanie ensures that more McMahon drama is coming down the pike. Even if Rollins represents "The Billion-Dollar Princess" against Owens, the real story, as always, is HHH and Stephanie.
