10 Big Talking Points From WWE Raw (Aug 29)
2. Triple H Is Back...
Just when you were really starting to think that Raw was safe (or that Stephanie was enough of a McMahon family presence on the brand), you-know-who comes back to put his nose into everyone's business.
Triple H had been absent from WWE TV for nearly five months - his last appearance came in one of the weakest WrestleMania main events in recent memory, where he lost the WWE World Championship to Roman Reigns. Since then, he's popped up a few times in NXT clip packages, but it's been exclusively in an administrative role.
On Raw, "The Game" came home. After Big Cass was eliminated in the Universal Title four-way match, Roman Reigns laid out both Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens outside the ring. When Rollins got to his feet, Reigns took him back down with a mammoth Spear. Before he could turn his attention to Owens, though, Triple H came through the crowd and attacked him. He Pedigreed Reigns on the floor, making him easy prey for "The Architect," who scored the pinfall in the ring.
If there wasn't already enough talking and nonsense on Raw, expect it to increase by about 100%.
