One of the most anticipated matches on the Survivor Series card saw Universal Champion Brock Lesnar come out on top against WWE Champion AJ Styles.

What had initially started out like your typical Lesnar squash match soon developed into an even contest that either man looked capable of winning. Styles got in more than his fair share of offense, including multiple flying forearms, a springboard 450 and even a middle-rope moonsault. In the end, the two went at it for over 15 minutes but ultiamtely, it only took a single F5 to put Styles away.

That’s the same number that it took to beat Goldberg at WrestleMania, Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire and Braun Strowman at No Mercy, meaning that in every one of Lesnar’s four singles PPV matches this year, he’s only ever needed to hit one F5 to score the pinfall.

In short, the company is not only protecting Lesnar—they’re protecting the F5 as well, which means its entirely likely we’ll see a certain someone, most likely Roman Reigns, kick out of it in dramatic fashion come next year’s WrestleMania.
