10 Big WWE Face/Heel That Must Happen In 2018

9. Heel: Jason Jordan

WWE should consider turning both former American Alpha men in 2018, but for entirely different reasons. For Chad Gable, it's a case of maximising potential, but Jason Jordan's switch would be an attempted salvage job.

Kurt Angle's prodigal son has done nothing but stink up the joint since showing up on Raw. The big reveal was a complete flop, and Jordan has become one of the most tedious characters in the company, adopting the kind of saccharine babyface persona that stopped being effective somewhere in the mid-90s. It's terrible. All big grins and corny lines, the serial vegetable lobber has been driven into the ground, and his current position offers no hope of upward momentum.

The company have already teased turning him heel by building tension with Angle, and they'll likely pull the trigger sooner rather than later. Frankly, it can't happen quick enough. There's no telling how Jordan will fare, but the extent of his failings means it could be the last roll of the dice for him as a singles act, though he'll never be a top-level guy without refining his lacklustre promo skills.
