10 Big WWE Predictions For The Road To WrestleMania 36
1. Roman Reigns Wins The Elimination Chamber
Comfortably the easiest prediction on our list, here, and a near-identical situation to Shayna Baszler's on Raw.
Roman Reigns, like Baszler, was the oddsmakers' favourite to take the Royal Rumble leading into the event. Rather than having him score a potentially divisive victory, WWE smartly used Roman as a red herring and ensured a big pop for Drew McIntyre's victory by dumping him out last. Still, it's only a matter of time before him and 'The Fiend' cross paths, and establishing the match by having Reigns win the Elimination Chamber is the easiest way to do that.
WWE were wise to keep 'The Big Dog' out of the main event scene to mitigate backlash, but Reigns has served his time. He has spent long enough on the upper-midcard and should now be tested as a headliner once more. There's no guarantee it'll work out, of course, as Reigns was met with mixed reactions in the Rumble itself. There's every chance that the audience will reject him as he goes against the popular 'Fiend' character. Regardless, this is the path we're taking.
Let's pray it works. Roman is a tremendous performance and, by all accounts, a great guy. It'd be a shame if his career ended up being defined by high-level failure.
