WWE have been smart in the way they've handled the current NXT Women's Championship situation.

Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley looks like the WrestleMania 36 match. It has been heavily reported over the past few weeks and escalated on Raw, with Ripley stepping out to officially challenge 'The Queen' for Tampa. Flair then promised to answer Rhea on her return to Full Sail University two nights later, but was disrupted by Bianca Belair, who Ripley must get through at TakeOver: Portland.

Rather than bantering the Belair/Ripley programme into the shadows and focusing solely on Flair/Ripley, WWE are pushing both at the same time. It's not exactly rocket science, but it is good, solid booking.

Regardless, it's going to be Ripley vs. Flair. Charlotte will eventually answer Rhea's challenge after the NXT Champion defeats Belair at TakeOver, which should free both of them up for something new. For 'The EST,' that could mean transitioning to the main roster, while Flair will be in and out of Full Sail for over a month, engaging in a brand-spanning feud with the most believably bad*ss woman on the roster.
