International growth is increasingly important to WWE, as it is an area which really has the potential to develop massively over the next decade. Millions more viewers could be gained, in turn garnering more lucrative international television deals, in turn adding even more Network subscribers. WWE are committed to growing internationally and have just expanded the Network in Southeast Asia. It has also been noticeable that they're putting more effort into the Japanese market, particularly with with the signing of high profile Japanese talent like Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura. These are signings that were made with the WWE Network and future live events in mind. Likewise, they're building on markets in the Middle East, as well as increasing their efforts in Europe. It is a sound business strategy, as the rest of the world is definitely WWE's most fertile ground for bigger growth. They're well and truly established in North America, but there's still big gains to be made internationally.
