Continuing on from the last point, attracting advertisers is hugely important to WWE. It dictates so much of Raw's content, as WWE want to keep a family-friendly product that is safe enough for big companies to want to advertise on. That's why PG isn't going away any time soon, as WWE are having success with their sponsors, recently attaining Coca Cola as an advertiser for the first time. The wrestling doesn't matter to Vince, he's less concerned about pleasing the die-hard fans (who'll watch anyway). He's way more concerned about providing content that will appeal to the big-spending advertisers and partners. This also extends to WWE's other business relationships with charities and so on. It is a business priority to develop lucrative relationships.
