6. Stephen Amell

WWE has had a whole host of celebrity involvement over the years, and the quality of these appearances really has depended on how into the product the outsider is. If you have someone who is truly just there for the money, the chances are the appearance is going to stink up the entire joint.

When you have genuine wrestling fans such as Stephen Amell involved however, things can be closer to excellent. Amell had long campaigned for a guest spot on RAW, and he finally got his wish in 2015 with a short program against none other than Stardust (Cody Rhodes).

The program culminated in a tag team match at SummerSlam that saw Amell and Neville go up against Stardust and King Barrett, with Barrett obviously taking the pin. Another sign of Amell's enthusiasm for the sport could be seen in him taking the majority of the beating from the heels, rather than standing on the outside waiting for a few choice spots.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
